Use this preparation checklist to turn your admission questions into a company action list. It is not an official inspection checklist.

1. Confirm what your company actually does
Record the contracting company, formal employer, work location and the party directing daily work. Include intermediaries. Compare the arrangement with the official decision tree. A contract label alone does not settle scope.
2. Identify the route to investigate
Record when your company first supplied workers, its recent activity, and any SNA certification or inspection already in progress. Confirm eligibility against the relevant route rather than assume that a small team or foreign registration removes the requirement.
The official foreign-lender guide describes the routes and foreign-company requirements. Use it to identify which procedure needs closer review.
3. Prepare company access
Check your KVK registration, authorised representative, eHerkenning and linked Business Message Box against the registration guidance. Assign an owner to monitor official messages. Do not share passwords or authentication codes with an adviser.
4. Separate registration from application
For the transitional arrangement, the announced registration window is 1 November to 31 December 2026. The subsequent admission application window is 1 May to 30 June 2027. Record each required step separately; a registration receipt is not an admission decision.
5. Build a route-specific evidence list
Start with company registration details, relevant certification or inspection records and the information requested by your chosen procedure. Confirm which financial evidence, declarations and other records are actually required for your entity and route before collecting them.
Employment contracts, payroll and supporting worker records may be relevant to preparation or inspection. The required evidence must be checked against the applicable standards and procedure; this short checklist does not replace them.
6. Give each action an owner
A useful preparation log has five columns: action, responsible person, evidence location, due date and unresolved question. This is a practical organising suggestion. Review gaps before claiming your company is ready to apply.
7. Keep other obligations separate
WTTA admission does not establish an individual’s right to work. Posting, immigration, tax and social security questions need their own assessment where relevant. For sector-specific questions, read our inland shipping and crewing guide.
